New year, new… website? Let’s roll with that. We know we’ve been quieter than normal on our social channels lately, and that’s not just because we’ve been working hard on getting our new Lockport location ready to open. We’ve also been tapping away at our keyboards and furiously designing a brand new 2021 EDITION (that sounds nice) online store!
Text Message Updates
You now have the option to enter your phone number instead of an email address at checkout to receive SMS notifications about your online order. You’ll receive 3 different notifications: your order was placed, your order is ready for pickup, and your order has been picked up.
Smart Product Recommendations
At the bottom of each product page, you’ll see a variety of product recommendations. These recommendations become more accurate over time as more orders are placed and product information becomes available.
One of the things our previous online store lacked was the ability to refine your search while browsing. We’ve added dynamic search filters that change based on what you products you’re currently viewing.
Okay, this one isn’t exactly new, but communication and process regarding Curbside Pick up is a lot more streamlined now. You’ll just have to try it to find out 😉

Product Tags On Product Pages
What’s a product tag? It’s a way of organizing products on a website. On every product page there is now a style (e.g. IPAs & Pale Ales, Stouts & Porters, etc.), format (e.g. 16oz can 4-pack, 12oz bottle, etc.), region (e.g. Illinois Beer, West Coast US, etc.) and of course company (e.g. Hailstorm Brewing, Revolution Brewing, etc.).
All of these tags are clickable meaning you can further dive down into each tag to see products with the same tag. Pretty, pretty neat!
Universal Gift Cards
Oh yes, that means exactly what you think it means… you’ll now be able to purchase and redeem gift cards in-store and online! If you’re currently holding onto one of our older gift cards (lucky you), you’ll soon be able to redeem them online. Older gift cards are any gift card that was issued before January 19th, 2021.

Can I still access my account?
We tried our best to transfer account data from the old website, but due to security issues and incompatibilities, we were only able to transfer over customer email addresses. Order history, passwords (which we never had access to), and credit card data (also never had access to) did not transfer over.
The good news is we still have your order history and will retain it for one year from today. If you need your account data, please email [email protected] with the email address associated with your account, and we’ll get that taken care of for you.
What happens if I don’t have enough money on my gift card?
If your gift card has a balance that’s lower than your cart total, you will still be able to redeem it as long as you enter another form of payment when prompted.
We’ve put a lot of time and effort into perfecting our new online shopping experience, and we hope you enjoy it.
